For those of you who have been reading the blog since it’s first year, you may remember our 7 in 7 series. We’d pick an item, like cowboy boots, and have 7 looks with 7 different people in 7 days. We also tackled seersucker and wearing white.
Now, we’ve brought back the series with a twist: 7 looks, 7 days, 1 human.
To start, André Mayo, the man behind Mister Earl Grey. André is from Hampton Roads, Virginia and currenly lives in the Boston area where Jamie Clayton photographed him in March. Enjoy this week of Good Looks!
When did you leave Nashville and move to Boston:
April 2014
What took you up North:
A long drive in a 16 foot Penske rental truck with a hitch for our car. My wife and I moved here to serve a newly birthed church community and live out our faith in practical ways that benefit others here in this city. We each sensed a divine leading to come to New England and partner with this new community founded by a lifelong friend of my wife’s family.

Love this series. So great that Andre is from VA! I’m from Portsmouth and love seeing people from the 757 doing well in the world. Thanks for featuring him Caroline. Keep doing God’s work in the world Andre.

Absolutely! I loved the series of photos Jamie shot and loved learning a bit about this guy. Honored to have him on Back Down South.
