You know what? We are really into socks. Going sockless is great and all, we do it all summer and yeah, we love it, but why everyone be hatin’ on socks? With the Fall weather creeping in, all of our awesome socks are dancing their way out of our drawers and onto our feet…where they get to dance even more…
When we found out about Foot Cardigan, who delivers one random pair of crazy socks to your mailbox every month, we were in. For $9 a month, a pair of socks with an unknown design arrives, ready for you to rock. Mark’s first pair is pictured above; mine had dogs wearing glasses on them. My favorite thing about October is that my daughter was born in October. I was told her due date was October 21, and that she would be Late! My Birthday is October 25, so I was crossing my fingers that I would get the BEST birthday gift ever, my daughter. My favorite thing to do in October is hike the shores of the west coast beaches in gum boots, tights (or my sock cardigan socks, shameless I know), and a fluffy sweater. I’ve gotta say my favorite thing about fall is changing from summer beer to the red ales, porters, and all that. It’s hard to drink a heavy beer when it’s warm outside, but with that fall chill it’s the perfect touch.
